Patty Feldman- I have been an athlete my whole life. I’m naturally competitive, so with CrossFit, the sport of fitness, it couldn’t be a better fit. It’s something that constantly challenges me to improve, and it makes me a stronger person, both physically and mentally. It really is a true test of mental toughness, and it’s done in a way that never gets boring or repetitive.

From the first day I did CrossFit I knew it was something special and was addicted. The training I had previously been doing did not compare to the quick gains I received from CrossFit. The CrossFit community is great and I love coming to work every day. CrossFit has put me not only in the best physical shape of my life but has also made me mentally tougher. The workouts are intense and often test your will to continue and not give up. I have to say that my favorite part of CrossFit is coming together with everyone to see people crush times and max out. It truly is thrilling to see the results of yourself and those that I have established such great relationships.
I can honestly say CrossFit has made me a better person. I am a very passionate and knowledgeable trainer who cares about my clients.

Michael Rodriguez – Strength Coach-
I’ve always been an athletic and competitive person while growing up and throughout high school. When I got to college just doing bi’s and tri’s got real boring after a while. That’s when I saw a guy about my size putting up 300# over his head with ease and I was blown away. I needed to know what he was going asap. Found out it was Olympic weightlifting and from there it was history. I started training with my buddy everyday for 3 years. As well as competing in various weight lifting competitions locally and a couple up in Canada. After a couple injuries I stopped competitively lifting but still enjoy perfecting the technique of the sport as well as still trying to test my limits.

Joe Gasparre – When I was 16 I decided to give CrossFit a shot and started to modify the main site workouts. I trained in my back yard alone using metal plates and a stick as a modified kettle bell, a folding chair as a dip rack, a doorway pull-up bar and whatever I had at my disposal. At the age of 18 I was blessed to compete in the 2008 CrossFit games as a competitive athlete and also received my CrossFit Level One. Although my career as a competitive athlete has gracefully come to a close my passion for coaching and fitness has evolved tremendously. I met Patty in 2009 at CrossFit Old Bethpage where we both coached. When Patty opened up CrossFit Fusion she welcomed me to accompany her on an extremely rewarding journey. When I’m not in the gym I may be driving a police car for Suffolk PD, playing video games, or watching ‘It’s always Sunny in Philadelphia’.
